Improvements after undergoing programs at KidzGrow
He is more independent with his school work. Seems easier to teach him now (I don’t have to go through every question) He has gained the “common sense” required for learning. He’s also more curious & asks questions when he doesn’t know stuff. I believe he’s on the right track for learning.

Background information of child
Diagnosed as ASD in 2009 when he was in Std 2.

Programs & No. of sessions completed / performing
Joins us when he’s 6 years 9 months in July, 2010. He went through 24 sessions of RV and 1 course of FFW. Programs ended when he’s 7 years 4 months in March 2011.

Results
• More responsible, increasing awareness in self and environment. Better self-confidence.
• Willing to try and is more energetic.
• Better balancing, jumping skills in motor-coordination. Better processing speed and eye-hand coordination.
• Able to finish task on time and complete homework independently
• Tidy handwriting with increasing copying skills and speed
• Better at following instruction

Clinical observation
• Low confidence and low spirit when struggling in some work or exercises
• Weak in motor-coordination, eye-hand coordination
• Poor auditory memory and processing
• Untidy handwriting, slow in copying
• Weak auditory processing/perception skills (often mishear or misunderstand instruction)
• Shy and talk less
